Isn’t it wonderful this time of year to see all the lovely Christmas Home Tours and DIY gift ideas, gobs of cookie recipes and glittery craft projects? I love them, too, but the truth is, all of that decorating and baking and crafting makes a mess! I like to keep it real here on Sweet Tea & Saving Grace, so today I’m giving you a peak behind the Christmas curtain to show you my Epic Mess and how my family is coming clean for the holidays!
My family and I love Christmas, and we love to decorate and entertain, but I live by the motto, “You have to destroy to create!” By that I mean…I’m messy. Thankfully, I’ve got the Eureka SuctionSeal 2.0 Vacuum!
We visited our local Wal-mart and found the Eureka SuctionSeal 2.0 in the vacuum aisle, and it’s currently on Rollback from $148.88 to $129! You get a really hard-working vacuum for a great deal. This machine is a dog-hair-eating monster!
I’ll be honest (because I’m always totally honest with you guys), we had another vacuum and it just wasn’t cutting it for us. We’d have to clean after we cleaned because it couldn’t handle our epic messes. The dog hair, the people hair (me and Marley shed as much as the dogs!), the spills, the dropped food, the craft messes….I wasn’t sure if any vacuum could handle our messy house, but this Eureka SuctionSeal 2.0 vacuum does with no issues!
I recently shared my first Christmas Home Tour here on the blog, so of course, my house had to be in tip top shape! We have carpet upstairs, plus an area rug in the livingroom, and three (very hairy) dogs, so the suction of the Eureka SuctionSeal 2.0 came in handy! Dog hair was no match for this machine!
I’m really being transparent here, but here’s the truth. With three dogs who love to lounge on the rug, the dog hair tends to gather around the edges of the ottoman and the couch. We vacuum weekly y’all. Weekly. But it still looks like this. One good swipe of the Eureka SuctionSeal 2.0 and the hair is gone!
Our microsuede couch holds onto dog hair like a magnet, too, so that’s when the on board tools come in handy. I love the upholstery tool for my couch and the carpeted stairs.
The livingroom was finally clean and ready for the Christmas Home Tour!
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas in our house without crafts and handmade gifts, but that will definitely create a mess!
I love how easily I can clean up my messes with the on board tools. A quick flip of the switch from floors to tools, and I can show that glitter who’s boss!
I can get dog hair and dust that collects in tight spaces and corners.
I can even use the brush attachment to clean my blinds y’all! I hate cleaning my blinds, but now I can just brush them clean and the vacuum sucks up the dirt! Easy peasy!
Our hardwood floors always need cleaning, too…dog hair y’all. It’s no joke. From the kitchen…
…to the entry hallway and every space between! The Eureka SuctionSeal 2.0 switches easily from bare floors to carpet at varying heights. One vacuum for the whole house!
My favorite part is the retractable cord. A press of the button, and that cord wraps itself! With our old vacuum, we’d just kind of loosely wrap the cord up and hang it over the handle. (C’mon, tell the truth, y’all don’t always wrap the cord up, do you?)
The Eureka SuctionSeal 2.0 Vacuum makes it easy to come clean for the holidays! Come on in for a visit!

I don’t ever write posts on products that I don’t truly believe in, so you can rest assured that every word I’ve said about this vacuum is completely truthful. I love this vacuum…LOVE IT. I’ve never loved a vacuum. I’m not kidding, the first day I used it, I sent a picture of our carpet to my husband while he was up in a deer blind hunting and told him how amazing it is. It rocks my socks.
So, what Epic Mess do you have that Eureka could help you tackle?
