Hey y’all! Welcome to Sweet Tea & Saving Grace! Come on in. I’ll grab a mason jar of sweet tea for ya!
I’m Kirsten Thompson, and this is my home on the interwebs. 🙂 Sweet Tea & Saving Grace has evolved a lot since I started blogging back in 2009. What started out as a way for me to save my sanity and have an outlet for my creativity during a tough custody battle has grown into a home decor and Christian lifestyle blog.
But that’s just my side hustle! You can read more about my “day job” below in the “about Kirsten Thompson” section!
Sweet Tea & Saving Grace is all about what it’s like to live in the South, and I’m opening up my front porch for you. Together, we’ll love on our families with simple but delicious recipes and handle rushed weeknights with quick & easy meal plans.
We’ll decorate our homes on a budget and get crafty to make things for ourselves and our friends. We’ll travel, we’ll share honest conversations about life, and we’ll definitely pray together as we read through the Bible.
FEATURES & FAVES
In April 2018, I started a chronological, in-depth Bible study. I know this will take me a couple of years to complete, but I’m excited for this journey! A couple of reader favorites include the quick & easy meal plans with printable grocery lists, and my oh-so-gorgeous kitchen remodel! (It’s my fave, too!)
You like printables? I’ve got some for ya!
ABOUT KIRSTEN THOMPSON
As my blog grew, I began receiving emails regularly asking for help starting a blog, so I started teaching others how to do it. I’ve fine-tuned my expertise and now run Wit + Wisdom with my best friend Erin Shebish.
Wit + Wisdom is a podcast and website for online business owners and bloggers. We run an online membership community called Dollar Boss Club, and for fun (because we obviously don’t have anything else to do!) we co-host Girls & Ghouls, a paranormal/comedy podcast. (Yes, it’s a thing.)
I live in the metro Atlanta, GA, area with my hubby Mark, teenage daughter Marley, and our three furbabies, Savannah, Dakota, and Daisy Mae. I love to travel, listen to good music way too loud, journal, organize, and sleep as late as possible.
