My husband and I do not make a big deal out of Valentine’s Day, because we try to do things throughout the year to show love for each other. Plus, who wants to wait 2-3 hours to eat because every restaurant in town is packed?! If I were going out, I would wear an outfit that embraced the Valentine’s Day theme with red, pink, and hearts! Whether you are planning a night out at a fancy restaurant or just heading to the movies, I have two Valentine’s date outfits to choose from.
Valentine’s Date Outfits
You may already have some of these pieces, or similar ones in your closet to make up the perfect look for your Valentine’s date. These outfits are great ways to incorporate trendier pieces with classic ones if you are not sure where to start.
QUEEN OF HEARTS
Tulle skirts are very on trend right now and I think they are the perfect fit for a Valentine’s date outfit. I would pair a black tulle skirt with a heart print blouse and gorgeous red, bow heels. Accessorize with a small clutch, statement necklace, and teardrop earrings.
Blouse (similar): Yes Style
SEXY SANDRA DEE
If you are opting for a more casual date, embrace the off-the-shoulder trend in a blush pink sweater paired with leather leggings. Keep the look fun by adding leopard print flats, a tan saddlebag, and tassel necklace with a pop of color.
Sweater (similar): Zaful
Flats: Mossimo Target
Purse: No Boundaries Walmart
You could even mix and match these pieces for other looks. Since leopard is a neutral, you could wear those flats with the black leather leggings and heart print blouse for another date night option.
