Happy first day of March! WOOT WOOT! I seriously feel like March ushers out Old Man Winter and introduces spring. As I type this, I can look out of my office windows to see 2 bird feeders full of hungry little birds getting ready to nest and have spring babies. It’s wonderful!
My sweet husband brought home fresh flowers for me last week for no reason other than to say he loves me, and just having fresh flowers in the house makes me happy! Today, I’ve got 10 Ways to Welcome Spring To Your Home, including how to make inexpensive grocery store flowers look like an expensive bouquet!
We’ll start with those fresh flowers:
#1 – Fresh Flower Bouquet
Complete with a video tutorial, I show you how to turn about $10 worth of grocery store flowers into a beautiful bouquet you can enjoy for more than week!
#2 – Easter Bunny Burlap Wreath
This burlap wreath is my wreath for all seasons. I just change out a bit of decor, like adding these cute little Easter bunnies!
#3 – Colorful Clothespin Art
#4 – Yellow Rolling Storage Cart
Any piece of furniture becomes springy when you paint it a bright shade of yellow! I built this rolling storage cart to use as a sidebar in my Americana dining room, and now use it in my craft room/office!
#5 – Picket Fence Succulent Garden
Don’t you love homes with white picket fences? Build one for your mantle and hang succulents on it! Instant Spring!
#6 – BLOOM Moss Decor
This BLOOM Moss Decor is seriously my most favorite craft project to date. I even love the pictures of the project. Would you believe the moss is self-adhesive? YES!
#7 – Cardstock Bird House
Create your own “Home Tweet Home” with this cute & cheery cardstock bird house! Mine sits on a candlestick I spray-painted yellow (can you tell I love yellow, yet?). I love my little birds!
#8 – Hanging Flower Pots
Here’s a unique way to hang flower pots – on a tension rod between two deck posts! You can even convert this into an herb garden that hangs on your kitchen window. Pretty genius, right?
#9 – 3-D Paper Flower Art
What do you do with a fireplace when it’s too warm for a fire? You hang art on the fireplace screen! I show you how to easily make these 3-D paper flowers using cardstock. Make ’em big, make ’em small, make a bunch of ’em to decorate the whole house!
#10 – Spring Garden Wreath
Hang your love of gardening on your front door! A combination of pretty gardening gloves & a spade, plus a few faux flowers come together to create this fun spring wreath!
Are you inspired to welcome spring into your home? Be sure to pin these ideas for later!
