24 Days of Christmas – Day 12 – DIY Ornament Frame

I’ve got a cute decoration for you today that’s super easy to make!

  Here’s what you need:

  • an empty frame (mine is 16×20)
  • various ribbon
  • various ornaments
  • hot glue gun
  • scissors
First, thread ribbon through the ornaments – don’t double it.  You only need to use a single strand of ribbon.  Just determine where you want the ornament to hang inside your frame.  Leave a short piece to overlap, like this:

Use the hot glue gun to attach the short piece to the long piece, like this:

Then, make a little bow and attach to hanging ornament:

Attach your strung ornaments to the inside of the back of the frame with hot glue:

Once you get all of your ornaments hung, you can add other little decorations if you’d like.  For example, I added a little plush Santa to the bottom corner of my frame.  Here’s the finished product:

And here’s our little table in the entryway:

(Notice the snow candles from Day 3!)

This would be really cute over a mantle, too.  I hope you like it!  Merry Christmas (decorating)!

See you tomorrow!
