24 Days of Christmas – Day 21 – The Real Christmas Story

It’s very easy to get caught up in the hustle & bustle of the Christmas season, visiting Santa, buying gifts, making cookies…and forget the real reason we celebrate Christmas.

Here are some amazing ways to share the story of the birth of Jesus with your family this Christmas:
First Christmas Poem – download HERE
This poem tells the story from the perspective of Zeke, the donkey, and how amazing it was when he met Jesus for the first time.  See more on Share His Story.
Printable Story Book by Ministry to Children
This is a simple little PDF that you can print off and share with your children.
The Greatest Gift by Jennifer Leigh Edwards on The Children’s Chapel
This is a cute story that makes makes the story of Jesus’ birth very relatable to children.
And of course, there’s nothing better than reading the powerful story of the birth of our Lord and Savior straight out of the Bible.
Pass the Bible around the room allowing different family members to read the story aloud.  Ask questions and discuss the story with your children.
God Bless and Merry Christmas!
See you tomorrow!
