I’ve had Christmas music playing in my car, at work, even on my cell phone via Pandora’s “Country Christmas” station! I love it 🙂 It might be 70 degrees here in Georgia, but I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas in my heart!
I’d like to share some of my all-time favorite Christmas music with you. What are some of your favorite Christmas songs, and why?
My absolute, without a doubt, beyond question, most favorite Christmas song EVER – Nat King Cole’s version of “The Christmas Song”
I vividly remember my dad sitting in front of the fireplace at Christmas time, eyes closed, stereo turned up loud, singing along to this song and loving every minute of it. 🙂

As a friend of mine said recently, it’s not Christmas until I hear this song – Alabama’s “Christmas In Dixie”
“Merry Christmas from Dixie, to everyone tonight…..”

John Denver & The Muppets singing “The 12 Days of Christmas”
My mom called the radio station one year and had them play this song for me 🙂 I love Ms. Piggy’s part – “fiiiiive…gOOoolld….riiinnnggsss….BADUM BUM BUM!” And Fozy Bear forgets his part – too cute!

Kenny Chesney’s “All I Want For Christmas Is A Real Good Tan”
I’d take Kenny instead of a tan, though, wouldn’t you? 🙂

Vince Gill and his daughter Jenny – “Let There Be Peace on Earth”
I still love the version on his Christmas album when his daughter was only 11 years old, but she’s got an amazing voice even now. Beautiful song.

Last one…
Wynona and Kenny Rogers – “Mary Did You Know?”
An amazing reminder of what the true meaning of Christmas is all about. So powerful.
