When we bought our house a couple years ago, we painted our dining room a gorgeous navy blue and I absolutely love it! But…it didn’t feel finished, you know what I mean? It was serving a purpose, but it just didn’t have any character. A couple months ago, I shared my design plans with you, and I finally got it all together!
I am so in love! All we had in the room before was the square table with seating up to 8. We’re a family of three so I decided to remove the leaf and make our table a bit smaller. Then I just had to decorate and add storage.
I’m just going to share all the pictures…because it’s just pretty. Enjoy!
I did all of this on a tiny budget, too. The curtains and table runner were about $30 each from Marshall’s. I built the storage cart. The flag was $30 on Ebay, and the red guitar belongs to my hubby. (He loved it hanging there so much, he hung two others in our living room!)
I seriously can’t get enough…
Here in Georgia, the weather has finally cooled off, so those windows have been providing a steady cool breeze through the house. My sweet girl Dakota now has a new favorite room of the house. (I think it’s more because she has an eye for design, not because she loves the breeze!)
Ok, what can I decorate next?!
What’s your favorite room makeover?
