I recently partnered up with The Write Dudes to put together a cool craft using their new Infinity Permanent Neon Markers and to be honest, I am ecstatic with the finished craft! I can’t wait to show it to you!
I wanted to create a piece of art for my craft room, and I’ve had the idea for this quote for a while now, so I was excited to finally have a chance to make it.
First, the quote: You see, I’m kind of a closet Beastie Boys fan and they have a song called “She’s Crafty”. The chorus says, “She’s Crafty, and She’s Just My Type” so I thought that would be perfect for my craft room wall! (Now, mind you, the song itself has absolutely nothing to do with being crafty in the sense that I make things…but I still like it, so there.)
Ok, now on to the tutorial – ready?
All you need for this art project are two canvas boards, a set of The Write Dudes Infinity Permanent Markers, and some vinyl letters.
I used a ruler and paint tape to mark off straight lines to place my vinyl letters onto the canvas.
I know it’s a little difficult to see in the photo up there because my vinyl letters are white on a white canvas, but trust me, they’re there. 🙂
I wanted a rainbow of dots to go across both canvases, so I started with pink and dotted around the letters.
For the rest of the art project, all you do is dot your way around each letter and fill in dots in various colors all over the canvas until you get the desired effect you’re looking for in your project.
As you can see, I gradually dotted my way through the rainbow until I finished both canvases.
Once I get my collage put together, this will be hung in a very prominent place on my craft room wall. I love it!

Pointillism! So cool! Did you peel the letters off when you were done, or just left them on there? Great project!
