I’m a day late getting this posted. I had some printing issues (sucks when you buy laser jet labels and have an inkjet printer…yea, had to make a quick swap today.) Now that it’s fixed, though, I was able to finish last week’s PL layout and get it posted!
*whew*

We had a busy week. Last weekend, I upgraded my phone, and installed Instagram on it – thankfully, because most of my pictures are Instagram pictures! {I’m kind of an addict now, thanks.}
For the title card, I used some lovely blue glittery thickers. These are fabulous – definitely need more of these.
{April 29} – Mark and I went to Taste of Marietta. For those of you who don’t know what this is, it’s a food and beer festival. Local restaurants set up tents and you buy samples of their food. My personal favorite? Chocolate-covered frozen bananas! Yum! And, because it was so hot, the kids took over the fountain in downtown Marietta. Craziness!
{April 30} – I picked Marley up from school and took her back to my office. She snapped a shot of me in the car, then I snapped a shot of her and her “faux-stache”. 🙂
{May 1} – This is so cool! One of mine and the hubby’s favorite beers is Shock Top, so when I saw this awesome VW Bug with the Shock Top logo on the door and their signature mohawk on the roof, I had to snap a shot!
{May 2, Part 1} – A girl’s afternoon with my sweet Marley! We went to Charming Charlie’s, a really cool (and cheap!) accessory store for girls of all ages. We both got some new bling, then headed over to Gigi’s Cupcakes for a scrumptious snack.

{May 2, Part 2} – After our girl’s afternoon, the whole family went for a walk through the neighborhood. The sun was shining perfectly over this field. Gorgeous.
{May 4} – Marley’s school had their annual Spring Picnic. She saw a few of her favorite teachers so I snapped shots with each of them. They have all spoiled her rotten over the years!
{May 4} – I was greeted at home with a package of goodies from Pick Your Plum and Fawn & Flora! I love getting goodies 🙂 I was very impressed with the sweet packaging from Fawn & Flora, so I kept some of it, including the hand written note on the pink tag!
{May 5, Part 1}
Cinco de Mayo! One of our dearest friends sent us this picture of her crazy husband cutting grass in his gigantic sombrero. I had to include in the PL album! 🙂
Marley took her first Western horseback riding lesson! She rode Sunny. I was so very impressed with how well she handled herself and Sunny. All of the photos on this 2-page layout are from her first lesson (except for our crazy friend in the sombrero, of course.)
{May 5, Part 2}
I used one of the 4×6 vertical spaces in Design B to put a journal entry about our day. I also included a picture of me and Tink – I fell in love with this horse! She literally rested her head on my chest and let me just rub and rub on her. (Kinda funny, though – she didn’t care for the hubs. He tried to rub her head and she pushed him away!)
Here are the rest of the pictures from Marley’s first lesson. That sweet little kitty at the bottom followed us to the ring and back again. 🙂
I had a few inserts this week as well:
This is the map from Taste of Marietta, showing all of the vendors represented that day.
This is a screen shot of Simple As That‘s home page and my ad on there! It’s my very first ever sponsor ad, and I’m very excited!
I had to include this! I posted it on Facebook, too, so some of you already saw it. 🙂 When Becky Higgins sent out her email to tell everyone Happy National Scrapbook Day, she included a collage of photos of people with their PL boxes. Well, Marley and I made the collage!!! WOO HOO!!! 🙂

So, there you have it. Our insanely busy but oh-so-glorious and super fantastic week in the life!
And even though today is Wednesday, I’m still linking up here…cuz I can, so there. 😉
