Simple Lighted Christmas Crate

Welcome back to 12 Days of Sweet Tea Christmas! I got hit with a nasty flu bug this week, so my Christmas video schedule got thrown out the window. Yesterday, however, I finally felt well enough to make a Simple Lighted Christmas Crate, and have the video for you today!

Hide ugly cords and add some festive flair to your decor! This simple Lighted Christmas Crate is easy to set up, and uses things you probably already have around your home! Part of 12 Days of Sweet Tea Christmas!

When we put up the Christmas lights around the front door, it left us with a jumble of cords sitting just inside the front door for all the world to see. They have been driving me crazy, and yesterday morning, as I noticed my wooden crate sitting in my craft room, inspiration struck!

Despite the fact that I’m congested and coughing, and in my oh-so-lovely sweatpants and sweatshirt, I grabbed my camera and recorded this simple how-to video. Enjoy!

Isn’t that cool? You can use Christmas lights that don’t work completely, trimmings from your tree, and extra ornaments to make a really pretty display, AND hide ugly cords at the same time!

Now that I’m finally on the mend, I’ll be able to put more fun Christmas videos together for you as we continue 12 Days of Sweet Tea Christmas.
