One of my goals for 2013 is to create an organized space throughout our home, room by room. I was thrilled to be a part of Trinity’s campaign because I knew immediately, after viewing their website, that these products would help me achieve my goals.
Our pantry was starting to take on a life of it’s own…and not in a pleasant way, either. I received the Trinity EcoStorage Bamboo Kitchen Cart and knew that it would be perfect for our pantry. (By the way, shipping is free – icing on the cake!)
Here’s a glimpse of the mess it had become:
I was really pleased when I unpacked the contents of my package from Trinity. There were no tools necessary for assembly. Everything just locked into place. My husband and I put it together very quickly and easily, then I finally got to organize!
I pulled all of the mess out of the floor of the pantry and rearranged the shelves. Some things went into our newly organized coat closet (which I’ll show you next week!) and I made room for the rest back in the pantry.
Check it out:
Now, we have a very tiny kitchen, so I was excited to discover that our new Trinity cart fit in our pantry! WOO HOO!
I will be using our new Trinity cart as an extension of my kitchen counters…a rolling island of sorts. It’s awesome, really.
To prepare for dinner, I went into our organized pantry and loaded up the cart with everything I would need to cook. Then I rolled it over to the refrigerator and added those items. I set up shop next to the oven, locked the wheels in place, and got to work fixing dinner.
I love the hooks on the side. I hung a grocery bag on the hooks to use as a garbage bag for food scraps, rather than having to pull out the big trash can. (Savannah kept eye-balling the trash trying to sneak a taste.)
I also love the basket in the middle. Initially, I loaded it with my ingredients. As I finished with my ingredients, they went back into the basket out of the way until I was completely finished cooking.
The bamboo surface is fantastic, too. Besides providing extra counter space for me in my small kitchen, it’s also a cutting board.
After the chicken went into the oven and the salad went into the bowls, I wiped my bamboo cutting board down with warm, soapy water and dried it with a paper towel, then rolled it back into the pantry!
One of my biggest issues with dinner prep was our small kitchen and lack of counter space. Now, thanks to my Trinity EcoStorage Bamboo Kitchen Cart, I (almost) look forward to cooking dinner every night! Almost.

I am so happy to be here today. My name is Vanessa and I am the author of Home Sweet Butterfly (soon to be DIY180.com). I am so grateful to Kirsten for having me here today so I can share with you how I organize my dinner menu.
Over the years, in order to keep dinner interesting and yummy, I have learned to plan my menu and shopping list at the same time. I also plan my menu because I have set a budget for my food shopping. I have some coupons, but 50% of my food items are organic. I shop at various stores, and use apps on my phone so I know the sales before I go.
My dinner menu is set for the next two weeks. In addition to dinners, I also cook and freeze pancakes, waffles or French toast to make breakfast easier.
With a little planning you can save time and money. Thanks for having me Kirsten and thank you all for stopping by!

I cannot even begin to explain how much I love that cart. That is SO awesome! We don’t have the space in our condo but we are house shopping now – this is a great idea to file away!! Thanks for sharing!
I am seriously in love with it myself. The only reason I agreed to buy this house last summer with the small kitchen is b/c we have a full finished basement that makes up for it. This kitchen cart is a lifesaver! It makes dinner prep so much easier, and gives me more storage space in the pantry. Thank you for stopping by!
Hi, Kirsten
I love how your pantry turned out and the cart is great piece to have. Awesome. Thank you again for letting me hang out with you. Have a great night.
Thanks for you Quick Tip! 🙂 I love my cart. My hubby was laughing at me last night b/c the whole time I was using it while cooking dinner I kept saying, “I love this cart! Have I mentioned how much I love this cart?!” 🙂 It rocks my socks.
