Steal A Kiss Jar – Valentine Craft Tutorial

I’m excited to show you a sweet & simple Valentine craft that is a treat for the entire family! Everyone loves to steal kisses, but these kisses come with an added little treat.

To make this Steal A Kiss Jar, you will need a mason jar or other container, a bag of Valentine’s Hershey kisses, decorative goodies (I used baker’s twine, felt, gift tags and other a few other items), and printable circles.
Making the Circles:

I found these FREE printable circles at Anna and Blue Paperie (click link to go to the page for a free download):
After I downloaded the PDF of the circles, I converted it to a JPG (do this for free at http://pdf2jpg.net/).  I used Picmonkey to add words to the patterned circles so some of my kisses would be extra sweet:
I added a white circle overlay to the patterned circles in Picmonkey then added phrases like, “A big fat kiss”, “A back scratch”, and “Snuggle Time”.
Using a 3/4″ circle punch, I punched all of the circles out and used Glue Dots to adhere them to the bottom of the kisses.
I used a little felt, a little baker’s twine, and a little glitter to decorate the jar.  The idea is, you don’t see what kiss you are getting.  Your treat is a surprise so I wanted to conceal the kisses as much as possible.  I also created a little tag that says “Steal A Kiss”.
With all of the kisses in the jar, we are sure to have a special Valentine season full of treats!  Personally, I’m hoping for the “Foot Rub” kiss.
What kinds of extra treats would you want in your Steal A Kiss Jar?

  1. Thanks so much! The only downside to this is that my daughter wanted to eat 15 kisses last night just to try to get a back scratch! LOL! 🙂
