Once upon a time, we had this big sectional…too big, really. It was almost the size of our entire little living room. We would get frustrated with the size of it, and eventually we got frustrated with the fact that the support had given way after years of abuse…or should I say, enjoyment?
Our dogs are family, and they loved the sectional. It was big, they could stretch out, rub their faces in the pillows…hence the reason the support is gone.
So we got new furniture.
Allow me to state the obvious: there are large dog beds on the floor. Of the three dogs, only one of them, my sweet Savannah, is actually following the rules and laying on the dog bed. Bless it.
“Hi Daisy Mae.”
“Hmmm…what?” YAAAWWWWNNN. *smack* *smack* *smack*
“Is it dinner time?”
“No, my little stuffed sausage. Not yet.”
“Oh. Ok then. Good night.”
Dakota isn’t too sure about the new furniture. She doesn’t like that it rocks. She doesn’t like that she can’t stretch out her legs or roll around, rubbing her face in the pillows.
She doesn’t like that there are no pillows.
But she’s learning to deal.
So, we got new furniture.
And lots of blankets to go with it.
